Description
Understand a contract without getting lost in pages
Contract Lens turns contracts and negotiated versions into a structured review that both people and agents can actually use. The host agent reads the document through its authorized file capabilities and extracts parties, dates, payments, renewals, termination terms, obligations, deliverables and clauses that deserve attention. Each finding should preserve a source reference whenever the host can provide one.
Compare versions and turn clauses into work
When you provide two versions, Contract Lens separates additions, removals and changes and helps distinguish editorial edits from changes that affect an obligation, date or amount. It also turns commitments into an operational table with owner, action, trigger, deadline and clause reference. Local MCP utilities normalize records, compare clause inventories, find explicit date candidates and audit evidence coverage.
Clear limits
It is not a substitute for a lawyer and does not decide whether a clause is valid, unlawful or commercially desirable. The workflow identifies what the document says and what requires review. If a file is incomplete, OCR is uncertain or an interpretation cannot be grounded in the source, the item should be marked for review rather than invented.
